Default Axxis Street Pad squeal

I just upgraded my rotors to slottes rotors and installed a new set of Axxis pads. I have put antisqueal compound on it, and it has dimished the noise a bit, but it's still pfairly loud, so bad that I can actually hear it over my Tanabe exhaust. Or these pads just that loud?

The quietest pads available are the OEM ones. Most performance pads will be noisy. Squeak, screech, groan are all noises performance/race pads will make.

The cheapest Autozone special pads will also be noisy, and may even stop the car.
I've been in some cars with Zone' pads that couldn't generate enough brake force to lock a wheel. Pretty scary when trying to stop for a redlight

If you bed them properly, the rest of your brake system is healthy etc., they will still squeak some. The problem is like trying to explain how loud your exhaust is, totally up to the individual. High performance pads squeak by design. They should squeak less than a normal set of pads on their last leg, if that is a more defineable relationship.

I have bedded them in correctly. I uderstand that they will squeal somewhat, but these are extremely loud, you can hear me braking a few blocks away. Any suggestions on what and where to grease again?

The instant after I installed them [first time I hit the brakes], there was a slight squeak, exactly as I expected. They were much quieter than my old failing pads though. Yours need to be re-shimmed or re-installed if they are that loud.

Interesting post, i also runs axxis ulitmate(three set, different cars)

it's is noise-less for my other car, but on the S i notice there's a slight noise. (broke in correctly, shimmed, greased, good rotor, caliper, smooth sailing caliper)
