Default Back window badly oxidized...Help!

The back plastic window in my S2K is badly oxidized. I tried using McGuire's window plastic window cleaner to no avail. Any ideas?

I tried McGuires also and what a joke! I also tried specially formulated vinyl cleaners and they didn't work either. I can't find Plexus locally or I'd try that, but I'm sceptical of it as well.

The only thing that DOES work so far is a coat of wax! I'm concerned though that it doesn't properly condition the vinyl and long-term I may have some problems.

But the good news is I CAN SEE!!

Wax would just cover the oxidisation wouldn't it? Meguiars #10 & #17 have always worked well for me. Sometimes it takes a bit of elbow grease and you might need to do it twice and then finish up with Plexus. I think the key to it is to do it regularly

Try Meguires #6 if its really bad. Then follow up with the vinyl window specific products. Nothing worked for me, and then the really agressive stuff saved the day, viola!

What I suggest is 3m plastic cleaner and polish which can be purchased at carquest. This really worked on the oxidation and cloudiness. It does a superb job. Now I just use the Plexus to maintain the transparent look

I took the easy route and had my dealer replace it under warranty. I'm pretty sure that's a "dealer's discretion" item though so they might not do it. I now use Meguires regularly and it works great.
