What does this have to do with S2000 Talk

This is more of a street encounter. S2000 Talk is for discussions about the S2000.

Well, that sounded like an eventful day. I don't understand why you would beat on the car in the rain. Just watch yourself, try to be a little more careful next time.
It wasn't raining when I was driving, just when I was eating. I'm scared to drive hard in the rain with the S. Thanks for the concern, I don't usually do this, but I was in a sticky situation.

same thing happen to me. Showed a friend what vtec sounds like on there was a state trooper coming from oncoming traffic thank god there was a median because he had to go all the way back down to do a u Turn and come after me. By that time i had pulled into the mall and park and got inside. Close one.

Eventful day...

Good idea washing off the bird poop. That stuff does a job on clearcoat if you let it sit.

There is a big difference in running from the police and getting the hell out of the way. In the latter, you can play it off even if they did catch you, by saying you didn't see them or didn't even know they were coming at you, that you were just driving.

I once launched from a stop sign and accelerated to 75+ in a 35mph residential zone. The car coming towards me happened to be a cop, and he immediately stopped and threw his lights on (bad idea) because it gave me time to get away and pretend like I didn't notice anything. He had to U-turn, while I kept accelerating until I was able to pull a left into a neighborhood and go down several windy roads. He did see where I turned, as I could see him driving through the neighborhood looking for me but I was safely parked... in someone's open garage (this was late at night, mind you)

Between the actions of specialk22tt and afwfjustin, I'm beginning to feel ashamed to be a fellow NFR owner.

afwfjusting... I'm not sure I'm getting the difference you speak of. How is ducking into a neighborhood and hiding in the open garage of someone you don't know not running from the cops? If caught, you would've had more than just a speeding citation.

Big difference between running and taking a detour before they catch up to you IMO. I've done the latter, and don't see it as being a big deal as long as you don't drive like you're running from the law when you exit the road where you attracted the unwanted attention.
