based on your driving, something is wrong unless you run at 7000 rpm on the highway. What though, I don't know =[

On my last trip of 1148 miles to the Dragon and back, the S got an average of 26.7mpg. That average includes 2 days on the Dragon!

The highest mpg the S ever got was 29.4.

Now that I have a general idea, I don't keep track.

Check air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, and clean injectors.

Are you using the correct octane fuel?

The mileage you are getting could be normal for that car but I would expect an AP2 to get better. I have heard from others on the board that Honda has continued to tweak the cars computer through the years, leaning it out. That should spell, better mileage for the later year cars. Mine is an '04.

That does seem awfully low. I have gotten as high as 26.8 MPG (combination of city and highway), and as much as 300 miles on a tank of gas. Sounds like something is wrong. Tire pressure? Dirty air filter? Hmm.....

I get in between 190-220 miles per tank. I dun't drive 65 neither

If I kept it at in between 65-75 mph (long term highway milage), I would prolly get up to 25 mpg or higher. Since I drive primarily out on country back roads at night, it ain't gonna happen.

If yer driving on the hwy at 65 mph for 10 miles each way and getting only 210 miles per tank, something sounds askew. I mean, I get up to 210 or more miles per tank and I drive balls to the walls going up and down through the gears sometimes reving to 9k rpm's
