Sounds like this guy didn't take the time to package it or spend the money to ship it correctly and now doesn't want to back his sale up. This is why I do not buy anything that isn't directly from a company. I have been burnt way too many times.

File a complaint with the FTC. They will research him and contact him. If they can't get a hold of him the local police will go to his house. It worked for me a couple years ago when I purchased a throttle body for my jeep. Took a while but I got it in the end.

Well after what you said about the packaging, it was due to poor packaging that cause the malfunction. Not really the carrier's fault (UPS, FedEx, etc) they expect the sender to package what is acceptable, and what he constructed was not adequate to hold that ipod. If i was the seller, i would take it back in promise of fixing it. Buy a new harddrive, fix it, and send it back.

Im letting S2000 owners know to be careful when dealing with this member. I have seen plenty of these warning threads in S2000 Talk before.
