The symptom of a flat rear tire is also similar to the wind pushing the car around. Anything that causes an S2000 to move around when it should be going straight is an indication that you should slow down or stop to find out what the problem is. In my case it just cost me a $200 tire (with just 320 miles on it ).

I had an almost identical experience. Wrote my S2000 off as well. I know that feeling now and will certainly be driving VERY slowly in the wet now!!

As for the ticket.... WTF?.... how can they give you a ticket for something like that? I would have thought you must be able to fight that.....
