Anyone have issues installing the black emblem? I tried to install them last night but the back emblem didn't seem to fit. The two posts on the badge were too wide to fit in the trunk holes (that was with the little white plugs removed). Anyone else find this?

The front and back are different sizes, you probably just had them reversed.

geordie,

You are talking about the 4 peice some chrome on black emblem kit right?

Did you mix up the front and rear emblems?

The front emblems is the one with the two piece adhesive on the emblem's back. The rear emblem has one big piece of adhesive on the back...and the post that fits into the two holes in the trunk is in the shape of an "X".

If worse comes to worse...trim the "X" shape down with a fingernail clipper until it fits.

geordie,

Haha...no problem bud. I just did mine last weekend. I love them.

If you have a hard time removing the stock double sided tape...go to your local automotive store and buy some aroesol adheasive remover. That stuff works pretty good.

Unicron,
Actually now the whole project is fubar! I've killed the original badges AND the black set by putting the back one on the front and then peeling it off dooohhhhh!
Any ideas on how to get the rear emblem sticky again?
