Let me fix that for you:

But a real Battery Tender TM, that will totally save your battery. Keep it fully charged and healthier than just sitting. Will safely slow charge it, saving it if its heavily discharged, assuming its still saveable.

Totally get a Battery Tender...

This is an option. I am very happy with this. My lawnmower battery and my two S2k batteries live in the cool basement with these tenders on all winter.

FYI, batteries left sitting on concrete will discharge faster. Place them on top of something, don't leave them sitting on concrete floor.

That's old-school advice (I'm old enough to know, lol). This is no longer true of today's batteries, in fact a concrete floor is actually a good place to store them.

Mine are not sitting on concrete. They sit on top of my wooden work bench with the tenders attached. I don't know about that concrete issue. Not taking chances though.

Thats what I love about this site. Always learning something new! Never too old, or too wise, to learn!

My thoughts exactly. As informative as everyone around here is about the S2K, rare is the day that I actually have something helpful to share beyond what others contribute. That's fine by me, I'll happily take in more than I can give when it comes to knowledge. It seems that I'm always willing to learn more when it comes to things that truly interest me.
