Battery dying after 3 days?
First time this happened in the spring I chalked it up to the winter storage. Now it seems that the battery is getting discharged over a three to four day period and then won't start. I am having it checked soon at my 15,000 service, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Mean time I keep a trickle charger on it.

Only mods are an amplifier and a satellite tracking system, both installed close to two years ago. Nothing new since then. The amp is not hot when the car is off, neither is the tracking system.
Bad battery or a short to ground. May be that a wire wore through insulation and is now touching metal. Email www.crutchfield.com for an installers guide (tell them your contemplating an install). This guide has an invaluable guide to isolating and correcting shorts to ground. They are common problems with home car stereo installs.
