Default Battery Dead?

Been away on holiday for a week. Went to use the S2000 this morning and the battery is dead. Nothing was left on apart from my clifford alarm light was probably flashing.

Is it normal for the battery to be dead after a week of no use? Should I disconnect the battery next time i'm going away?

It's not unknown - but it's probably indicative of your battery having seen better days.

Either get a new battery (

Mine was flat when I went to start the car yesterday after it had been in the garage for 2.5 weeks. The car gets used every day for work (30 miles) so I was surprised to find it was flat. This is the second time it has happened, last time I had to have the battery replaced as it would not hold its charge.
