I would think you would want a aftercooler also which would then be a total of $6k before comptech went out of business. Agreed you won't get 300rwhp with comptech stock.

Vortech isn't as reliable as comptech but does make much more power.

Local experiance. Seen/read issues with Vortech.




Comptech after talking to local owners were which is what I went forward with and no issues.


Still doesn't make power As Vortech and lets not turn this into another Comptech vs Vortech as comptech is history.

And yes, the bracket that holds the blower is known for cracking. Also, I dont think the blowers are warrantied by the original manufacturer. Legally, comptech is resposible for the claims, and THEY send it to paxton for repairs.
