Default Below MSRP Dealers!!

We all know how to find MSRP dealers, but finding those that sell below MSRP is a whole different matter. My question is: Does anyone have any ideas on where to find a 2002 for LESS THAN MSRP? I am not accustomed to having to make dealers soo wealthy and like all of us could use the $4000 difference between Dealer Incoice and MSRP on something much more useful than making dealers overly wealthy.
If anyone has any good leads on this matter please let me know and feel free to PM me.

I was just out to my dealer in Northern Virginia this weekend and they have increased their pricing (even on the 2001 models) from $35,400 to over $38,000! Adjusting for "Market Value"

WTF?

the increased prices on 2001's?? damn that's crazy. they should try to sell all the 2001's before the 2002's show up and nobody wants a 2001 anymore. I am an Economic major, and let me just say that this situation is really really bizarre.

A couple of weeks ago I spent an hour and a half at a dealer offering MSRP on a black 2001. They consistantly came back at me with $37000. I'd tell them no and they'd go back into the think tank and come up another offer for $37000. I'd say no again. I'd ask when the 2002 are coming in? They didn't know. I'd ask what are changes to the 2002. They didn't know. I guess they think today's car buyer is ignorant. Next time I'm going in with a printout from cars.com of all S2000s for sale and the respective "asking" price. Maybe out here in SoCal they are used to people coming in and plopping down whatever they are asking. I'm not going to do it. I also remember the $40K Miatas.
