bent hood, repairable?

Default bent hood, repairable?

i rear ended a van this morning. the front 2 inches of the hood was bend a liitle. is this repairable or do i need it replaced?

The hood is aluminum. Ask an NSX owner what its like to get aluminum body work done. MAJOR $$$. You might want to consider picking up one of those $500 carbon fiber hoods, and save big cash, if this is coming out of pocket. Serious, if you don't mind the look it beats buying an expensive part and then paying to have it painted.

i just found out a factory hood costs $409, unpainted. so the whole thing prob will be around $600. not as bad as i thought initially. bty, factory bumper is $300 unpainted.
