yea but still ap2 pull stronger than ap1 bone stock..i drove his car afterward too even though that 9k redline..i still feel like is too much of a stress to the engine..and compare to 8200 that just about perfect..is all good
pulls harder maybe, faster no.

You should be able to get 13.5 with gears, exhaust (well some lose power), intake.. and the S is a good drag car.

The S can hold its own in drag but the car world is upgrading while the S is still pretty much the S from 1999. Which is good but also bad.

My Ap-1,completly stock,was 13.7 something.
With gears,(4.56) you should be able to run 0.5 faster.
With S/C,mid to high 12's.

With lots of practice I ran a 13.9 at 100 mph stock.

With AEM V2 Intake, T1R 63mm Exhaust/Testpipe, Spoon rims, gutted trunk, and launching at 7-8k rpm's I pulled a 13.61 @ 102mph the weekend before last.

I was also able to pull a 13.86 with the top down and my wife in the car.

I also saw two other S2k's at the track with I/E/H running low 15's...consistently. They were show cars, but that's no real excuse.

Driver is key.

damn 14 flat on a ap1 that's amazing cause i race w/ my friends when we both stock from 1st to 4th i pull him a car and a half..but you must be doing perfect everything
14 flat is average. and ap1/ap2 doesn't matter. you can outdrive your friends, because in the end neither is faster than the other.

and, the best times for either cars are 13.6's. in the SE forum we have a thread with lots of 13.7-13.9 timeslips and videos of stock/near stock S2k's (mostly AP1's).
