Default Best bang for the buck

What brand and what bolt ons are best for the buck. Let's say about a grand. exhaust, intake, cat, ect.

i would do a spugen exhaust and whichever intake you prefer...
good hp and sound!

AEM v2 has proven to make the best power gains...for an intake that is.

does spugen have a deep sound, don't want that high pitched sound. how's hks or skunk2. are any of these legal and ok with smog?

I've got the titanium single tip. It's pretty deep but not "baratone" under 6k and "screaming" above. Definently not "high pitched ricer" type, definently sounds good

Spugen is a good exhaust. Not the best though... If you want power from your exhaust go with t1r 70/63 mm single exhaust or j's racing...

But like many will tell you, the ultimate bang for the buck is gears and turbo/super charger...
