Nitrous systems may be cheap to install compared to some other mods, however they can have a high running cost (depends on how ofter you use it) due to having to refill the bottle of nitrous.
Also some mods may be street legal in your area and some may not be. An exhuast that is louder than the stock exhaust is illegal in some areas, whereas in others it just has to be below a given noise limit.

Why spend money on a bunch of mods that MAY make a difference in performance? Get the lightest exhaust system you can afford. Get a set of Volk CE28N's. They are the lightest wheels that I know of for this car that actually fit. Get a big brake kit and a nice set of coilover shocks. Get a header. All of these items will save you weight. The wheels and brakes will make the biggest difference because they are unsprung weight. Get rid of all the unnecessary items like the trunk liner, spare tire, etc... Put yourself on a diet. You should be able to save at least 100lbs. of weight and increase your performance and handling at the same time.
