don't go with hks hi power, dyno proven to lose whp!!!

Is the A/F ratio supposed to change that much when adding an aftermarket exhaust?

 

Comptech is supposed to add like 3hp

 

I have the HKS Hi-Power and I like it a lot it. I don't like how it isn't fully stainless steel and how it probably didn't increase my hp, but I love how it sounds and how it looks.

Of course sound is subjective, but after watching a few clips of it I fell in love. Get what sounds best to YOU, not what sounds good to others.

You aren't going to find any exhaust for our cars that will gain a whole lot of hp, so IMO I suggest getting the one that sounds best for you which is really all it does... make the car sound nicer.

As far as the HKS losing hp, some have said it does and some have proven it doesn't. I raced a MY01 and we were dead even through the 1st 3 gears, and after 3rd I started pulling and passed him up. How that happened I do not know...

Look into how much R&D Honda put into the development of the s2k exhaust and that will answer your question . So many exhausts lose hp because the oem exhaust is damn near perfect.

 

Yeah I know it is near perfect...

My question was why I passed him up after 3rd when we stayed even from the start

I thought we were going to stay even until we shut down..
