holy hell! Im hoping this guy found his exhaust since he was lookin for it in 04! Ill throw out my 2cents anyways. I had the dual t1R sparrow 63mm and it was awesome! It wasn't ear piercing loud, but still had a great sound to it and it had no drone witch was awesome! Most singles that you really gain power with are soo damn loud its almost annoying!

It is a very difficult question to answer as too little information is given, apart from the whole exhaust topic being very subjective.

What price bracket are you talking about? Is it open to everything and anything?

Here are the main ones I would consider if I was looking for a new exhaust (at the moment I am very happy with my Tracy Sports 70mm dual)

- All the Amuse exhausts, both single & dual (single for more power, dual for stock look), however the Amuse exhausts are stated to have rattling issues
- Tracy Sports 70mm dual for turbo / sc or the 63mm .. these are made by the same factory that makes the amuse ti exhausts but to Tracy Sports specifications (they have a great racing pedigree) and elimitate the rattling problems the amuse exhausts are meant to have
- Berk Technology 57mm dual piping. I think this exhaust is a very interesting exhaust, with reported performance similar to an 80mm single (check the Berk website for full detials) and 8hp gains. I have not seen any dyno results done by someone other than Berk themselves yet but the results seem pretty impressive.
- Other than that the T1R that had already been mentioned .. I like the sparrow a lot and performance figures seem to be pretty good

Hope this helps a bit, but your question is very open ended and pretty hard to answer. Overall if you are thinking in terms of gains I wouldn't really bother with that thought too much unless you are considering doing a high hp N/A or FI build. Go to a local meet and have a look / listen to the sound of different exhausts - that should help you decide
