How are the gears at speeds over 100 mph?

also, if some1 could please give me the a website where I can purchase the 4.77 gears it would be a great help. thx
Acceleration is still great above 100, but you will cap out at 145. If you are mainly driving around town, maybe some mild stoplight race stuff, and cruising on the highway sporatically the 4.77's should be an easy choice.

Tons of highway driving and probably 4.44's. The 4.57 are in my opinion not the best of both worlds. You get less acceleration in each gear than the 4.77s and less gas mileage on the highway than the 4.44's.

If you want to make your car feel like a completely different car then go with the 4.77s. If you do high speed highway runs above 80 on a regular basis they probably aren't for you.

Also, the addition of a VAFC will help up top as well. Most dynos show a sharp drop in hp above 8500 rpms. If tuned properly you can maintain close to peak hp up until redline. When I had stock gears it would take all day to reach the mid 140 range. Seemed to loose momentum above 135.

Although the top speed drops from an unachievable 165 figure to 145, the stock car can barely hit 150 in reality and it will take all day to do it. While the 4.77 geared car is simply limited by gearing and will have no trouble reaching its peak.

Not that anyone should drive that fast anyway.
