Final Gears?
Dude, not to be mean, but you've started up three or four posts in the last hour or so asking questions that have been answered hundreds of times already. This site has a lot of info... spend some time reading first, and if you still have questions, ask then.
It's like a 10 speed bicycle. Your normal car only has gears 6-10 (using all of the back gears but only the big front gear). This is the stock 4.1 gear.
Now you install shorter gears on your car (4.44, 4.57, or 4.77). On your bicycle you can now only use gears 1-5. Your bicycle now has a lower top speed, better acceleration, and you have to run higher RPMs to attain the same speed.
That is final gear.

The number is the ratio of ring gear teeth to pinion teeth. Basically with stock 4.10 gears the driveshaft will turn 4.10 times to 1 turn of the wheel. An aftermarket set of 4.56 would accelerate better, but have lower top speed. A 3.75 set would have a slower acceleration, but a higher top speed.
