[QUOTE=S2KPUDDYDAD,Apr 5 2007, 12:51 PM] I am working on the lid design now to finish off the intake. The lid that is on it now is just a temporary piece. The lid will still have a lexan viewing area in order to inspect the filter and main chamber for maintenance.
I plan on producing a few by mid summer to be placed in random S2000

Has anyone here actually had an issue with hydrolock or even know anyone that has(personally, not your brother's friends cousin's uncle )

I have had CAI in my last three cars and I have never had any issues. I also live in the NW so rain is abundant here.

BTW- I have seen dynos that show the AEM V2 loosing HP over stock. That being said it is one of the best sounding and I have one myself.

I would go comptech if not the AEM V2

Intake is not a power maker for the S so pick what you like the looks of and sound of

do you have a rough estimate of how much this system would cost?

i don't want to wait for this system only to find that it is out of my price range...
It's not going to be cheap It takes a lot of machine time and hand welding to build one. If I produce them for sale it will be by order or buy group buy only. It will depend on how many get built to determine a price. If I had to guess I would say between $700 and $800 @ 10 units built.
To some people here it is stupid expensive and I understand, to others it maybe reasonable / affordable. I did not get rich with ETD mounts (I STILL HAVE 11 LEFT ) and I don't expect to with intakes The Ram-Air setup I made to link up to the system may never be produced for sale because of coast. I will help people that may want it to make it up them self

Thanks for asking
It allows you to install an engine torque damper without braking off the fuse box mounting tab to do so
