Default Best Intake for Power

I was just curious what the best intake out there was that produced the most power...i know intakes dont add much but i was just wondering....

i'd say gutted stock airbox hi flow filter and some sort of snorkel. thats just me though

I agree with Lc2000 gutted air box with k&n drop in cone... FTW ..

All kidding aside...


Realistically speaking intakes don't add a whole lot of power. Anywhere from the 2-6hp range. I would just do what looks best if I were still N/A. I used to have a blue AEM V1 intake. Sounded nice as well.

Ive had the K&N FIPK and although it sounded nice and had the heat shield, it would cause heat bog on a hot day. I switch to the spoon style snorkle along with a K&N filter and am completely happy with it. No heat bog and notice much better throttle response, especially at highway speeds.
