the thing is that it's really hard to measure cai's power gain/ lose on dyno...
some say mugen actually gains a lot when car's on track...

then again, there is NO s2000 cai that actually gives noticeable power gain on the market.
so like sir xviper said, it really comes down to your taste and how much money you wanna spend. (or waste...)

then there's this stuff, which is supposed to be the most effective cai for s2000.
(which is also one of the most expensive, and the best looking...)

the PRM and that funny looking one both place the intake opening over to the left of the radiator, anyone know why? Does air flow up though that area more or something?

these wouldn't be called CAI would they?

Just wondering

I would go with Mine
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...threadid=102263

but honestly if you want to buy name go with AEM. Only thing AEM has on my intake is CARB approval and a free license plate frame with each intake If you want to go for a harder install go with Injen. Remember there are real K&N 6 inch filters in my kits. Unlike Injen and AEM who produce their own filters now, i doubt they can match the performance a K&N does.

If you want to go for the easy install, i guess its PRM even though i still think it sucks in hot air and looks like a horn and defeats the concept of a Cold Air Intake, but some people swear by it

If you want elegance go with either a Spoon Air Duct/IDi Duct or a Mugen CAI

If you want stock look, go with the Comptech

If you spend over $350 on an intake you are a FOOL
those stupid CF breasts/ J's racing Breast/ ARC George Forman Grill are all huge wastes of money.

I think Comptech is also CARB legal along with AEM.
