Im sorry unless you dyno the mugen intake in a windtunnel there is no possible way that the intake alone will result in a increase of 22hp!

I remember seeing a posted dyno chart for the AEM showing a gain of 8-10 HP. And this one cost only $200.00 US.

The S2000 is tuned good from the factory. No intake alone will give very much horse power gains at all! Go for looks, sound, price or all of the above. I personally bought a $40 short ram intake tube(made for civic, 3") at an auto parts store and put the stock style K&N filter on it. It fits good, looks good, sounds good, and I feel the illusion of more power at higher RPM's due to the deeper VTEC tone.

*I like the AEM because of the "power gain", but is supposedly not an easy install (cutting required?) $200ish
*the Injen because it has some power gain, it comes in a red tube, also supposedly not an easy install (cutting required?) $200+ish
*the ID/Spoon snorkle because those are CF, classy looking, keep things pretty much stock and definitely get air from a cooler source than the stock air box, very easy install $300ish(?)
*comptech looks cool, supposedly an easy install $300ish

I have an AEM CAI. Sounds great before VTEC, scares people in VTEC. Do the polished too. Much cleaner look. Got mine for $240. I don't think I gained any HP though. Sounds better for sure.

The Injen/ Aem make about 4 hp MAX.
If the Mugen made 22hp, I would buy it today!!!!! That would mean that with just the intake, I would have 262hp. Yeah right! Even cams won't do that. Just look at the dyno charts on cams alone -- 10hp or so.

Oh, BTW, I slept with Cindy Crawford last night....
