Default best set up to drop my02?

I wanna lower my car but do not wanna dump it, a good 1.5 to about 2 inches just so the wheel gap goes away. I don't just wanna get springs, because I know eventually the stock shocks will lag out. And will I need to get a camber kit? I have 19 inch wheels. I definately wouldn't the car to be softer in the corners, maybe a lil harder, but not to hard so the smoothness goes away of the drive.

Thanks everyone
