outcome stock suspension is very hard. but if you want to change it go with Pss9 instead Koni.

I have Tein SS on my prelude and the stock suspension on the S is far better in my opinion. I would keep the stock stuff for a while to get a feel for it before you go messing with things.

stock. If you're worried about body roll, upgrade the swaybar.

So replacing the shocks and springs seemed to be a not so good idea because the stock is good enough... but I was wondering... would adding stiffer strut tower bars and sway bars be a good idea and would a difference be realized?

Strut Tower Bars won't do much in the case of the s2k. I'd recommend an X-Brace instead.

KW Variant 3 coilovers are good.

Strut Tower Bar is not necessary. Sway Bars will be a good add for various tracks.

But if you're going to be auto-x'ing, rear sways, strut bars, springs/coilovers will bump you up a class or two. Might want to take that into consideration.

There are a number of different auto x classes though but yeah, you will be most evenly matched in the stock class.

In the Stock class (whatever it's called) you can upgrade only your front swaybay and your shocks. I don't recall whether or not you can run other than factory springs. You also can run no lower than 200 shore tires is that right?

My memory is fuzzy but stock, the S is a very capable car in autocross.

The S tears up the A-Stock class. Yes, you can upgrade the shock and can run slicks. You cannot change the springs. You can also run R-Comps.

Go to the SCCA site for more info.
