What the best (most effective) way to clean the valve cover? I had the valves adjusted a little while ago and Mr. Honda Tech got my valve cover dirty with his greasy hands.

Should I use Simple Green or another cleaner?

 

i tried simple green but those stains just wouldn't come out.

 

I had some tough oil stains on mine...Damn Dealers

Armor All - All Purpose Cleaner took it out with just a bit of scrubbing with a 100% cotton rag. it also left some red paint on the rag, just a bit.

Mind you this stain had been there over 1 year!!!
