Default Clean Valve Cover

So, while changing oil I got some on my valve cover. Is there an easy way to clean it? It makes it a little darker in the spot where the oil is, but I don't know how to safely clean the valve cover. BTW it's a stock red valve cover

You could try a very mild degreaser. I mainly just use some car wash solution mixed with water and a soft, long-bristled brush to scrub.

The red coating on the valve cover is pretty resistant in terms of cleaning agents. Windex would work just fine.
