How about "in VTEC"? At least if you want serious sliding fun...

What I've tried before that was pretty successful (well, with some nice worn tires) was taking the turn kinda wide, but as you are nearing the apex of the left hand U-turn, jerk the steering wheel a little more to the left (assuming you didn't lock it already) and that will upset the car. Gently apply throttle so that the ass begins to lose grip, be prepared to countersteer. Good luck and practice in places with sparse traffic.

5) drop the clutch
6) counter steer (if needed)

What makes this the "best" way? Well it's not the fastest, but it'll more than likely be the most fun

I never try doing from a dead stop, but from a roll, this is my method. If you want to bust a u-turn (180) going the opposite. I slowed it down to around 20mph put it in second gear, turn the steering wheel all the way to the desire direction and just floor the gas. Doing this all in one motions, meaning-brake, turn, gas. 2nd gear is enouth power to swing the car around quickly. If you want faster accel after the U-turn. Pop it in first gear instead of 2nd. Don't oversteer, your rear will swing around, so be prepare to counter-steer.

??? I just use the u-turn lever. It's located behind the gearstick and has a button in the top of it.

i just start the turn from a roll.. as i'm in the turn punch the gas.. till the tires break and slide.. let off to control it.. and counter steer.. its fun and not too hard to control.

except the time i accidently did it in the rain.. heh.. my friends were trying to follow me.. they were by how tight the car was able to hug the turn.. lol.. it was fun cause i didn't meet the curb.. damn close though

This is how I usually do it especially in front of many people like downtown in front of Planet Hollywood. Bring the speed down and put it into neutral and bring the revs up to about 4,000 RPM and slowly drop the clutch then turn the steering wheel accordingly to the space you have.

Once it starts to oversteer, counter it and bring the steering wheel back to the original position and provide some acceleration. It should fishtail appropriately with a nice slide and pull back into position swiftly. Gets the girls' attention especially, do get enough practice though otherwise when you oversteer then understeer and try to counter that, it will make the car swerve left to right very unprofessionally then you will become a laughing stock instead.
