Which is better - Life with or without DBW & VSA?

People take more risk when they have safety nets.

VSA (or similar), however, has been shown to reduce single vehicle accidents by 40% and fatalities in those accidents by 50%.
Good enough for me.
And in today's glare ice and snow... I can tell you that I:
1. Didn't take more chances
2. Was very, very happy to have traction control in an SC S2k.
3. Grabbed the keys to the Rover when we went out later tonight.
Do what you want, but I wear my seatbelt and love my traction control in the snow.
I used to hate VSA and disable it every time the car starts. I talked all kinds of shit about it. Then I learned to really drive this car. Then I figured it is not worth taking risks in non-track environments. VSA is now my best friend and I would want to drive without it
It's off at the track of course.
DBW has never been an issue.

So, what's you point? People make an informed desision based on their current options. As long as they understand that VSA can't break Newtons Laws of Motion, they'll be fine. Argueing that VSA is bad because someone might actually use it, is a little silly. Of course you're also asking how to disable antilock brakes, so maybe you're beyond help.
This is kind-of funny that quote. How could Airbags have any effect on Accident Rate? Airbags only deploy *after* and accident has occurred. But assuming he meant antilock brakes, then by this same logic, removing seatbelts from cars would lower accident rates as well. But it would still be a stupid thing to do...
BTW, if you're going to the trouble of quoting University Studies in a forum post, you might as well provide a link.

To get a sense of how far one must be pushing the car: the S2000 is extremely capable right off the showroom floor. It'll perform to limits substantially past the boundaries of what a whole lot of people, especially the ones who can and will enforce said boundaries, would consider reckless driving.
Now I'm up for a spirited drive as much as the next guy, and VSA does decide to kick in a bit prematurely every now and then, but you're pushing it a bit too hard for public roads if VSA is really holding you back.

There's no need to be a jerk.
Welcome to s2ki.comI thought you're first post was fairly jerky, so I returned the same attitude. But as they say we can agree to disagree before we get to name calling.
Someone needs to drive through a measured track course that has multiple turns including hairpins multiple times with and without VSA.
I would expect anyone familiar with this road course that has never tried it with VSA to be either on par or maybe slightly slower in the begining but as the "benifits?" are more fully understood time improvement could easily increase.
Maybe not ,but if someone (prefferably several) drivers would do this, we would probably have our best answer.

I want to ask if there are any changes or delay of throttle response between DBW and normal ones? And also I am 1.91 cm and 110kg will I be uncomfortable with S2000?I want this car so much but I m afraid of the small size of it.
Lifes good with or without VSA. Since mine is MY07 it came with one and I love it.
Lately since its been raining I have been experimenting with the VSA on. I usually turn it off in a rainy day and On in a dry condition, why? I dnno.
But anyways, ive been trying to use the VSA to its limit. Tried drifting with it ON in a verrrry slippery empty parking lot. Results? Perfect slide..
Takes a few practice but its fun.

So it's recommended to take out the CDV? What kind of improvement do you get out of that? Can any Honda dealership do it for you?
