And they call themselve mechanics.

I always thought it was common practice to keep ALL bolts and nuts taken out in ONE container so that at the end of a jobs you end up with ZERO nuts and bolts in the container.

Basic stuff...

Good news - it wasn't done during assembly in Japan.

Bad news - the dealership did it.

Even worse news - the dealership never did find it even after complaints for 12,000 miles!

Best news - you found it, problem solved, hopefully no damage but if so, hell you've got 'em by the short hair if something happens later. You got the best warranty in the country.

Just checked. My nuts are intact. Oh yeah, the car's fine too.
I'm happy to say that I do all my own work and no dealer mechanic has groaped my car.

OK, here's the scary part ................ those nuts aren't supposed to come off for the TSB !!!!!!!!!!!

Soooooooo ............... are we still satisfied with that explanation? Maybe they were so incompetent that they removed sh!t they didn't need to. I don't know

BTW, better find out what else they needlessly removed and didn
