Default bike racks

Anyone have or know of any for the S? I'm guessing that a bike could fit across the trunk of the car.

I wouldn't do it either, but if you insist I would use a Saris Bones rack. I used one on my miata and it worked great. The seemingly soft rubber feet WILL scratch your paint though, so either put a cotton rag or sock around the end of the feet or get four squares of paint protection film and place them where the feet will rest.

A trailer hitch with a rack attachment would work.

One of these:

Be very careful about the amount of weight you put on the lid. My rack holds three bikes, but it will never see even two. Another member dented his lid with just two bikes on his similar rack.

The Saris one actually puts most of the weight on the rear bumper. Like i said though, I've never used it on the S, but there should be enough support under there.

I've used a rack that leaned on the spoiler and it scratched it up with even the foamy pads. when i say scratched i mean removed the paint from the tip of the spoiler. i just got the spoiler repainted.
