These last two days were the worst for me. i am currently in the Marine Corps. I park far away from everyone in the parking lot. So the other day I was going to my car on my way to leave to goto my friends house to wash my car ironically and what do I walk up to? My car covered in Bird Shit. When I say covered I mean like 6 birds musta shit several times on my car and splatered it everywhere. Front fenders, roof and hood were covered. I was so pissed I didnt want to even drive it through base and town with it like that lol. So i spend few hours washing and detailing, and finish up with a claybar. Now today I go out to my car to go out in town for a little and what do I see? Covered in bird shit again and its just all over. I cant even describe how pissed I was. So here we go again I washed it again, two days in a row. I now parked in a different spot and hope fr better results there lol. Still waiting to get my car cover, That'll solve alot of problems.

When I had my MINI I was cleaning bird shat almost every other week. In the 2+ years I've owned the S...maybe twice. You are not alone!

Bird poop is probably the best clear coat remover on earth! The longer it is on your car's finish, the more damage it can do. So it is a good idea to put a bottle of detailing spray in your trunk, along with a couple of microfiber cloths in the trunk and sue these to clean this stuff off immediately.

In addition, this topic reminds me of this.

I've had a bat clip my hair and splat on the headrest while driving top down at night at about 70 mph....bird shit is small beans compared to that mess.

There is a story of one member who was driving by the beach and a seagull dropped a burrito into his car.

lmao at the burrito thread....

top down driving has led to the occasional bird crap splatter all over the windshield with a few droplets getting into the cabin but nothing big so far thank god

my passenger was once hit in the face with a pebble/rock going 80 on the highway which made him say f*** convertibles lol and wouldn't shut up about the pain for the rest of the ride lol
