Default Bird Sh!t

I've had my S2000 for about 14 months now and drive with the top down 95% of the time. I've had a bit of rain in the car, an acorn, leaves, twigs, and a large wasp who hitched a ride for about 20 miles. No bird sh!t yet but I know it's only a matter of time.

Who's received a blessing from above? Gotta be pretty common with anyone who lives near the beach, seagulls/dump ducks.

I've had some splatter from the edge of the windshield with the top down all over the passenger seat.

There is a story of one member who was driving by the beach and a seagull dropped a burrito into his car.

Had bird poop hit the windshield while I was at a parking lot at the beach. It missed the cabin by a few inches.

Also beware of bird poop at beaches, thy usually contain lots of sand so when you try to wipe it off, it WILL scratch your paint. I learned this the hard way

Bird poop is probably the best clear coat remover on earth! The longer it is on your car's finish, the more damage it can do. So it is a good idea to put a bottle of detailing spray in your trunk, along with a couple of microfiber cloths in the trunk and sue these to clean this stuff off immediately.

I don't know what it is but keep getting splotches in my paint or clear coat. Definitely looks like it is from something dropping on it. Can bird shit damage the clear coat or something? Whatever it is, it's plaguing my paint haha.

Never had a problem with bird poo but I've been hit in the face by a Junebug at 78mph and it hurt a bit.

I got hit in the eye while driving through a parking lot. Absolutely sucked, put my top up and air on and drove home immediately to shower, fortunately nobody saw me =P
