Black or Yellow?
If you're anal retentive about the cleanliness of your car, then black is the worst choice you can make.
I owned a black M1 Miata because I mistakenly thought small car, easy to clean. Wrong! Suffice it to say, I will never, ever own another black car no matter how nice they look for the 1.3 pico seconds that they're actually clean.
I love my Spa Yellow but I think you should know a few things about his color before you chose it.
1) It shows dirt easier than I thought.
2) It is an unmitigated cluster f&$k to match the paint color. From touch up paint to God Forbid a re-paint, its a bitch.
3) Bugs love the color. This sounds weird but I'll be damned if I don't often come out to my parked car to find bugs on it. They're just attracted to the yellow. Others with Spa have reported the same problem.
4) Chicks dig it
. Not a problem for you single guys but my wife is only moderately amused by the cat calls, whistles etc. I get in this car. Of course maybe, its just me
HA HA.
Not that I'm unhappy with Spa but if I were to do it over again, I might have gotten the Formula Red. Its classic, flashy but not too flashy, worlds easier to paint match, and also correct for a sports car.

My God!!! It took you 4 minutes to make your decision??? Mine was made within the first 30 seconds of the test drive.
As far as the color is concerned. All black cars are difficult to keep clean looking. Just because they are black, they show everything. I know, I've had two black cars. They look great when they're clean and waxed, but all you need to do is drive it once and you can see all the dust and dirt on the car. That is the main reason I went with the Spa yellow. It's an eye opening color and really look great in the sun. Plus, dark thing absorb heat, light things reflect it. Black does get hot, but that doesn't really matter. What matters is that the interiors of both colored cars are black and those seats and steering wheel get hot when out in the sun.

If I could go back, I'd probably get black. cuz it's to nice w/ bronze rim's.

Why does everybody seem to think that the black is more of a nightmare to keep clean looking than the Spa ? My Spa shows every little speck of dirt, because it contrasts against the bright yellow paint. I think both are a nightmare to keep spotless
Regarding the bug thing, I also have found in the morning that my car has lots of dead little critters on it. I never noticed that on my white car. Maybe they do like the color.
Regarding the paint match, I can confirm that. I ordered the spoilers from handa online and even though they are Honda parts that came painted, they aren't a perfect match for the rest of the car. Its very close, but unless the entire car is painted in one shot, you can never totally match the color. Its what is making me worry about ordering the hard top later. I love how the car looks with the top, but I'm concerned that it will be slightly off-color, like the spoilers are
Pssst....go yellow...I started getting looks and catcalls from girls the first weekend in it
