Today, I fortuitously weaseled my way into getting a Spa S2000 for MSRP near Seattle.
I can't believe I got yellow.
But now, I need some help from you guys. I know I've posted before, but there's a black/black S2000 that will be delivered to a dealership in TX for MSRP + $395 in mid March. I lost out on my $500 deposit if I fail to transfer to another buyer. So if any of your friends in TX or nearby are interested, it's there for the taking.
Thanks, guys!

SpaceNeedle,
What dealership did you find it for MSRP?? I live near Spokane and have friends who are seriously considering a S2000, particularly if they don't have to pay the 34-39K they're asking near here.
Did they have any silver/black or silver/reds on the lot?
Was that the only Seattle dealership that would sell you it at MSRP??
Any helpful comments on where to call, who's got what in stock, etc would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to get them in a new S2K, and MSRP would help a lot!!
Enjoy your new wheels!

Space Needle, congrats on your new Yellow! Would love to see it and many others in the Pac NW. I live in Penticton, BC. How about an informal meet in somewhere like Leavenworth (say, May) once the weather allows? Who else would be interested?

As to the TX dealership, I can get you a blk/blk for $395 over MSRP (leather care/paint treatment BS).
I will not get my car until late June so May won't work for me. Plus, I'm not going to show up at a meet unless I know how to drive my car really fast, really well. So it might take quite a bit of time.
Private message me for the dealer info selling at near MSRP in the PNW.

The thing is, they have a check on hold. They have NOT cashed it yet. So I can block the check and they can't sue me for not giving them my $500 deposit?
If true for WA, TX, I would be very happy because $500 adds up to a lot of food for this po' ass college muddapukka.
