Just a quick note to anyone interested in buying an S2000. The dealership where I bought mine has 2 2001 silver/black (no options) available and a 2000 Red/black with under 100 miles on it (no options).

I am in no way connected to the dealership. I am just telling the world.

The dealer is Honda of Mentor, Ohio (previously Gene Norris Honda - Mentor, Ohio) ask for Shaun Crowe.

 

Berlin Dealers -- on the outskirts of Gorham, NH -- called me yesterday to say they're getting a new 2001 black (with, I think, black interior) soon and are selling it at $500 below MSRP. When I dropped in to their showroom two weeks ago they had a new red ext. on black int. one there as well.

I dropped by my local Honda dealer Sunday and the salesperson said that a lot of Southern Cal dealers are getting a lot of S2Ks trucked in from dealers in other states where they can't move them because of the bad weather. If that's true, you east coast guys shouldn't have any problem getting your S2Ks for MSRP right now. If you pay more than that, you're obviously not shopping around!
