Tony Foran,
From what I have been reading on this site, the motor does not seem to be the limiting factor with forced induction. You might hear a lot of people that have blown their motors, but 95% of them are for missed downshifts (5-2 shift), for spark plugs that get loose and bounce around in the cylinders, or just the mysterious #4 cylinder not getting enough oil pressure.
The problem with forced induction on the S2000 (from reading the board) is the differential. But as long as you don't drop the clutch at 6000 with forced induction it will probably last a long time. Silver Surfer and Davepk have superchargers with at least 30,000 miles on them and they are still running strong with OEM internals, and they also have quite a bit of track time on them too.
