Thats what I was going to say. The number should be recorded in the ECU. Ask them about it, and call them lying bastards if they deny.

are the 2006 S prone to blowing up..i never heard of this. is it common? My cousin just bought an 06 should he be concerned???

They can always reject your claim...it saves them money. YOU eed to contest it and not run away, unless you caused the damage.

If you are adamant that it was not your fault and Honda can hook up the car to their computer, then tell them to do this in front of you so you can see the readings.

I noticed everytime when an engine is blown and is still under warranty, Honda ALWAYS comes up with a "over-revved" as a reason to refuse coverages under warranty. WTF is up with this BS?
