How did this turn out? Any pics?
No, we never took any pics. He found that the lighting inside the cluster was very bright and on some colors, he needed to double up on the tint sheets or it would wash out and still look "amberish". However, doubling up would also then make it somewhat dim. He's moved now and he hasn't posted here for quite a long time. You can try to contact "blackS2000" and see if he responds.

pwned!! i was gonna say i'd be impressed if any company would take up the s2k dash. Im sure the gouging out of the OEM diffusor probably got to them. PCBs were the nail in the coffin.

FYI. i had the blue 'gel' kit on my car before i did the led thing. It seems ok, but leaves the other lights (hvac/audio/cruise/defrost/roof/hazard) amber still. That does nothing for me. I'd rather have them all 1 color.

the gel works well, but the thing is, i wanted blue, and blue only. The problem with blue, is that is doesn't 'mix' well with other colors. Normal incandescant bulbs are always 'yellowish' in the light spectrum. Compare halogen to HID for example...

now what happenes to the light when u put yellowish and blue? you get green. It just wasnt blue enough for me, so i went LED's... the only way to go IMO, for a pure blue or white anyway.
