It is kind of strange to hear from S2k fans who do not know who he is.

For those of us who grew up in the 60s and 70s Bob Dylan is considered one of the greatest singer/songwriters of all time. He was one of the voices of that time. His songs span the spectrum from folk standards like "Blowin in the Wind" and "Don't Think Twice Its All Right" to ballards such as "Just Like a Woman" to folk rock such as his early hits "Like a Rolling Stone". Many, many of the artists of the 70s and 80s speak of Dylans influence on them. Many have suggested that he was instrumental in shaping the tone and direction of rock.
By the early to mid eighties, Dylan had lost much of his "magic". Much of his recordings of the 80s and 90s lacked the ingredients that made the early works so special. In addition, whatever little vocal ability he had now seems to be gone. He has recently released an album that many think is his best work in 20 years. I have not heard it yet, and cannot comment.
Today my cd changer has a custom made CD of Dylans works. I have compiled about 30 songs, mostly from his early (pre Nashville Skyline) works and listen to them often. Much of my all time favorite music is on that CD.
An aside to this is the group "The Band" famous for songs such as "The Weight", "Cripple CreeK", and "The Day They Drove Old Dixie Down", began as Dylans band. Two of the original 4 members are dead but Robbie Robertson is still around and still a giant among musicians.
If Bob Dylan does own a S2000 that is fine. It tickles me to know that one of my favorite singer/songwriters, and one whom I consider a giant among giants, likes the same car that I do.
