Now what should the first mod be?
Now what should the first mod be?
Thats an aftermarket spoiler.
Here are some easy mods I can think of that will make you enjoy the car more -
Front lip first.. I like OEM or Greddy. Makes it look meaner
Voodoo Titanium counter sunk-shift knob. Pricey but so worth it
Drop it. Coilovers preferrably.. or proper drop springs
Update the sounds, new headunit and speakers with modifry DCI. OEM blows chunks
Get the plexi glass headrest inserts from Ricks, makes less wind and noise in the cabin.
Reinforce all the possible wear spots inside the top with leather patches from a craft store or vinyl and silicone glue. Do this asap. Search for wear spots here to find them all.
Get Redline or Amsoil synthetic in it.
You can shave the side emblems you want.. or not. Hair dryer and fishing line.
Take some performance driving courses to take advantage of this cars handling. Or at least go break it loose in a empty parking lot to find your limits.
If youve got money to burn supercharge or turbo it
Ill think of some more later

Change your cabin filter, its behind the battery. Youre headlights are already cleared and so are your sidemarkers.. also your H emblems front and rear are shaved. Looks good. I would do the side emblems to match.
Youve got red seats but not door panels, the seats arent the originals but thats ok.
You could get the AP2 or the new CR radio door. I like the CR one.
You can remove the spare and jack to save weight.
Maybe a CAI and full exhaust with test pipe. Mostly for sound and weight savings instead of power gains. I like my Fujita intake. Sounds bitchin. Single exhaust saves more weight and gains are little better.
Give your top a good cleaning and conditioning with Aerospace 303.
Check the elastics on the top, they might be getting bad.

I do plan on turboing, but I think I'm going to wait till this winter to do that. I would like to get an intake as well as an exhaust just not sure which one to go with. As far as lowering it, I'd like to but I live in down town Chicago... I'm so sure if I like the rear spoiler. Can you buy the cr spoiler?
Yeah you can but its $700.00 from hardtopguy. Spendy. The OEM AP2 looks good, I have BYS carbon fiber spoiler painted, looks clean also. There are a few others.
Rear gears is another mod you could consider. And better tires if yours are cheap ones would help bring out the handling.
Oh, and of course welcome
These cars are just plain damn fun. Not the fastest, most prestigeous or luxurious. But simple and so fun. A dying breed among todays overdone gizmo cars.
