Boxster board S2000 review...
OK,
Maybe its just me, but I would think that anyone in a sports car MIGHT be paying attention to the road in front of them, and the traffic on it.
I'm constantly seeing people say you have to shift down two or three gears to move into a spot quickly. You only have to do that if you weren't paying attention to the traffic.
I think its pretty obvious when a spot is going to open up and get ready by down shifting the requisite gear or two so when it opens up I'm ready to either go or shift and go.
This car has made me a much more attentive driver, that and people don't seem to notice anything smaller than a Ford Excursion.

Speaking of trips to the Dentists.
My dentist (M5 owner) took my S2K for a spin this last weekend. I finally had to stop him shifting before 5K RPM. After that he got a huge smile on his face. Said it was like his cycle only a lot more fun.
He was trying to decide between the Boxster and the Audi TT Roadster. Now he's trying to find an S2K for a good price.
He dug the shifting and the scream. So there is at least one dentist that doesn't have an issue with the suspension.

Re: The Civic/Prelude racer
Yes, most of the folks there seemed to regard him as a quite excellent driver. He borrowed his friends S2000 and ran it around the course a few times. Those tires were SCREAMING. I was working grid, so I didn't hear what his times were, but I know he was wringing that sucker out.

The digital dash, specifically the digital tachometer, was a godsend for me when driving.
Why? I could easily see the tach using my peripheral vision. While my eyes were glued to the road ahead I could see the tach growing and growing. This is much easier to see than a single need turning.
Just my 2 cents.
