I like the grinding and powder coating job. How much material was removed? Does it affect the weight or strength of the caliper?

 

Beautiful work Rick! You mentioned the logo stencil was applied to the paint....what type of stencil is it and how well does it hold up to heat?

 

The grinding has no impact on the strength of the calipers, and only minimal impact on the weight (a few grams).

The stencils are custom made for this job (not the ones I normally supply, although they would work if each letter was cut out and applied in an arch).

 

The caliper looks realy cool

But is there some way for me in Sweden to get hold of stencils for that job, or scanned the stencil
