Is brake dust bad if left on the paint for too long?
I've noticed that there's a TON of brake dust that lands on the side of my car after driving for a bit and I haven't had a chance to wash the car since getting it. Is it alright to leave it on or does that crap eat into the paint?
It will likely damage the paint if left there, more so if it gets wet and then allowed to sit on the paint (notice what the dust does to the clear coat on rims).
The stock pads are probably not as bad as some racing compounds but I wouldn't suggest leaving that stuff on there any longer than absolutely necessary.

Clean it!!!!!
No self-respecting Silverstone owner would go more than a week without cleaning it - especially with brake dust on the rims and paint?
I'll let you slide (this time), but let that be a warning to you.
Great color choice.
