Default brakes feel weird

I was doing some spirited driving on street last night.. anyways long story short.. I stomped on my brakes a little harder then usual in a curve and my brakes feel a lil weird... When i was driving home after .. i was applying the brakes and it felt like the pedal was stuck.. i would use my foot to pull the pedal back... the car would stop but the pedal would be near the end.. when i parked my car last night even the brake light was on.. had to go back in the car and pull up the pedal...havent driven the car since... anyone know how to help me out... can my brakes be worn out already..

thx again guys

and dont drive the car hard until you resolve this !!
(does sound like a fluid leak, but it could be several possibilities- none of which would be safe to drive with

Only give them you symptoms, its a mistake to go in and tell them you need a new master cylinder. What's your milage? If it's a bad master cylinder, and that's what it sounds like, then it should fit under the 3year/36,000 mile warrenty.

I have 15k Miles.. what should i say exactly so i can get this under warranty.. funny thing is i just got my Top replaced and warrantied because of a natural wear and tear on my soft top.. and I have to go back because the fabric around the roll bar inside the car was not attached properly..

tell them what you told us except for the part about the spirited driving.
you did a panic stop and the pedal dosent feel the same ever since. and you have to pick the pedal back up each time.
pretty much all the mechanic needs to know at this point is what the symptom is. he'll look at it and if he needs more details, he'll ask you.
actually he'll ask the service writer and the writer will come ask you.

I wouldnt even mention the panic stop. I would just say that you were slowing down and noticed the pedal didn't come up when you came off of it, and you had to pull it up each time.

if he doesnt tell them he did heavy breaking, he could be witholding infomation that would make the life of the mechanic a whole lot easier.
