Ok I know the break in period is 600 miles. What im wondering, is since i am going about 150+ miles to get the car, when i drive it home, will i damage anything. From what i understand is that when you break in a motor you should do all stop and go traffic, not a straight drive. Also how fast can i drive it home? I think someone mentioned 65, but i could be wrong.

Elements,

Very the speed use a different gear now and then.

But the speed isn't what sets the limit for the breakin. you should keep the RPMs <5500 for the first 600 miles. But even more important, don't VTECH early! VTECH is at ~6250 RPMs. I'm not an expert on this (Many on this board are, and will likely reply), but this is the basic guideline for break-in.

Also, I know many people on this board have picked up cars quite a ways from home and driven back home. Take a few side roads on the way, you don't have to stay on the interstates the entire time. You'll have more fun on the way home if you plan to minimize highway miles anyway!

Just vary you speed... and I guess stop often. I don't think you will break anything. Just keep it under 5500rpm.

you don't need to stop and go.
literally, it's as stated - vary your RPMs while avoiding taking it past 5500 and avoiding WOT driving.

make sure that the spring spacers have been removed and check your oil.
