Default BRISK Spark Plugs

I race spec miatas and had a fellow racer try out these plugs, they noticed a significant increase in throttle response and lower rpm performance, i already bought a set for my sm but was wondering if anyone had tried them in the s2k? since the pre 04 cars are (not to start a battle) a little "slow" off the line , i was thinking these plugs may give it better performance. I plan on trying a set in my 04 and brothers 01 s2k's. ill post feedback when i test them.
And for those wondering heres a link to the plugs formore info

IMO this is nothing more than marketing hype. The difference in performance with a change from one new plug to another is almost nothing.

If there is anything that makes early engine response slow (and that is negligible under most conditions) it is a slightly rich mixture, and a plug change will make no difference.

the idea in the plug is that it creates more of an explosion over more of an area which makes sense if you watch the video. These plugs are also the same ones shipped on all lamborginis

Actually the US distributor in local to me, and we have a relationship with them. I have tried a few of their plugs (on a dyno in fact) and there was some increase. But it was within that variance that of a dyno (3hp). We tested the silver, and the premium plugs.

Ask Splitfire how they're doing with their hyped up spark plugs: http://www.ftc.gov/opa/1997/02/splitfir.htm
