Not sure how i did it but the end you pull broke off. I guess i have to replace the cable? How to do this?

I took it apart it resmebles old style door lock push button. The end slips over the cable snapped off. I had to order new cable,$36, to get the pull actuator.

 

It is very simple to change.

It is also part of the wiring that runs all the way to the passenger side seat from the fuses on the driver's kick paner. I know because when they stole my seats and cut the wires I ordered the harness and had to change it.

Just pull the trunk liner on the driver's side of the car and you will see it. You might also need to remove the covers behind the seat .... I was changing the top at the same time so I had no interior.
