Maybe you can fabricate something to repair the latches, or order just the right latch parts to replace those plastic pieces. If the hole in the top is really only the length of a penny, I would probably try to patch it before replacing the whole top. I don't know if that is possible though.

you can only buy the latch as a set, not by individual part. I think they are like $70 each.

i also had the EXACT same problem the same way just both latches broke i have no idea whats goin on if i can find some replacement ones thatd be great
